I love to sweep!

Sophie got an Elmo broom for her birthday- she loves it. It combines her 2 favorite things, Elmo and sweeping. For reasons that I'm unaware of, Sophie loves to sweep. It must be genetic because apparently I used to love to sweep too. Having her own broom is a BIG deal for this little lady. Now when I sweep, she will run to go get her broom and sweep with a passion that would make a hockey coach proud. (Although she might get panelized for high sticking.) While she sweeps she says constantly "Elmo sweep" it's pretty cute.

2 year Professional Pictures

We recently had Sophie's 2 year pictures taken. It was a total disaster. The photographer actually recommended that we reschedule for another day. The main problem was that Sophie refuses to sit still-and smiling while being forced to sit still just didn't happen.There were many tantrums, most of them from Sophie. When we rescheduled I came armed and ready- with lots of cookies, suckers, and marshmallow things that Sophie NEVER gets. She was quite pleased with her treats, and we got some decent pictures. Of course, most of the pictures have her with some type of food, but she was happy so we were happy.
