Carl has been wanting to dip Sophie's toes into the water ever since summer began. I have repeatedly said no, as the lake is very cold and I myself have yet to put my toes in the water. However, we had a beautiful, hot 4th and I ran out of excuses. Here are Carl and Sophie right before the big moment. As you can see, he is very happy because he finally got his way.
